Powerful, Evidence Based Treatment for Resolving the Impact of Trauma.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Cape Town, South Africa, August 2002
We often have wounds that appear to have healed and then we discover that in fact that they haven't, that underneath they have festered. And the only way in which that wound can be healed properly is for it to be opened up and to be cleansed and perhaps for a balm, an ointment to be poured over it. People have suffered wounds to their bodies, but perhaps more to their spirit, to their soul. They are traumatized by violence, abuse, by rape and almost always, if those wounds are not attended to, they will fester and they will affect the whole person. Now, the Victim Services Center (renamed 'The Trauma Resolution Center') in Miami provides expert counseling to deal with these traumas. And I commend them for all the good work they do and urge those who may be traumatized to make use of very competent services. God Bless you.
It is possible to feel better...
...and regain hope and trust after an overwhelming or distressing event. Physical and sexual violence, losing someone to homicide, fighting in or being fought over in war, stalking, witnessing violence, natural disasters and emotional abuse are some of the life situations that can leave anyone feeling depressed, anxious or seriously stressed.
Sometimes these symptoms go away, but for many people, they do not. In fact, the symptoms can become more severe, causing a person to lose a job, lose relationships, and become a victim to his or her own mind.
Since 1995, The Trauma Resolution Center (fka Victim Services) has helped people of all nationalities and ages suffering from diverse trauma recover fully from their experiences and lead lives without traumatic stress, depression and anxiety. We have helped at-risk kids recover from their trauma and find their inner strengths. We have helped people in Drug Dependency resolve long-term patterns and lead healthy lives. We have helped vets, human trafficking victims, torture victims and everyone in between find peace in their lives.
Our holistic services have proven to be very effective in helping people integrate traumatic memory and assist the body in longer-term healing.

Statement of Support From Dr. Vince Felitti:
"I write as the co-Principal Investigator of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study of 17,334 adult participants at Kaiser Permanente, dealing with the relationship of ten common categories of adverse life experiences in childhood to emotional state, biomedical disease, and social malfunction fifty years later. As a result of this experience and our over seventy publications, I have come to value the work of the Trauma Resolution Center in Miami, Florida. This unusual, trauma-focused program has a history of providing effective services for victims of crime who have developed posttraumatic stress disorder, depression, and/or anxiety because of their victimization.
